Reading The Blocksize War by Jonathan Bier . I know for the OGs it must be a rehash of old news. But as someone who is class of 2020 it's an interesting read on the perspectives within #bitcoin at the time. Like it's weird seeing quotes from Gavin Andresen talking about everyone who didn't switch would be left behind because they got the biggest businesses and miners to agree. With no mentions at all (so far that I've read) to the common node operator. It's as if they thought they didn't matter or something. Anyways, great book so far.

Holy shit #bitcoin conference industry day was bearish AF. Bunch of shitcoiners and now twitter is full of postd saying "You know what?? Hotep was right. We should pay someone else to own our Bitcoin so we can't send it permissionlessly, instantly and so they can fraction reserve it until they eventual rug us or confiscate it from us"
Is it just me or are ordinals now a successful attack on #bitcoin ?? Im seeing posts of 300k and growing pending transactions stockpiling. And now binance has turned off BTC withdraws due to the network. I could be off but miners making more in fees isn't detering this.
