Welcome to the Nostr World. If you landed on this wild world, let me give you an idea of the terrain. We are hanging on islands that give us the ability to communicate between each other and all the parts of nostr world. We set our sails to new islands with the chances to bring soul into this wide world. There are many islands to discover. Some of them are thriving and some seem abandoned. There are construction plans laying around and need some place to be easily accessible for everyone. If someone decides to build something on a new island, he can bring people to help building it. And there will be people visiting that island to find out if they like it here, maybe share their ideas or just support you. And your island needs maintenance or wilderness takes it back. We will get to a point, where the people in Nostr world managed it to build great infrastructure around the purple world with many more promising islands. Welcoming ports and ships full of people, excitingly knowing what their getting into. Plus the ability to blend out stuff you couldn't see when all the people where there at once. We can set our sails to infinite islands but have to keep the base healthy. And we make Nostr world beautiful and enjoyable all along. Noting with love from Damus island. 🏝️💜

You are part of the foundation of the Nostr network. We all have our daily lives and responsibilities. For the time we individually pick for Nostr, there is always room for improvement into Nostr. Each of us have different qualities and all of them matter for the protocol. We are just finding out, but structure between each other gets more and more important. Nostr is mostly an open source community project right now that depends on the organization within the community more than on funding or anything else. So we have to take it as it is and continue documenting stuff and spreading the word. So we can keep doing our regular business but still make improvements to the world we aim for every day. We are not a typical initiative with hierarchy. We do not have people who lead us through the possibilities and remind of consequences for deadlines. We have bigger social dynamics and it makes the organization part more difficult. We rely on the skills and social connections from the people that already joined this world, to get the stone rolling in the first place. Until some more groups of people manage it to become - something. Nostr is still very experimental and thats okay to a point. If you are here, connect more with people that are ready to build something, maybe especially those who are already building something. And if you are said builder, find ways to manage your feedback better and next steps. Give it the form it deserves and create structure. Understand what it means to maintain and to be a part of Nostr. It's voluntary work and a long term commitment. We are striving for a golden age in the halfway discovered jungle. But we have peers with ideas and we do it slowly but steadily. Keep building, connecting and enjoying fellow Nostrich 🚀💜

every year I have frogs living in my rainwater tank. I don't know if it's high life for them because they have unlimited food or stressful when I take some centimeters of water everyday. What do you think? Its a couple, wouldn't want to interrupt them having babies lol 🐸
