Price is 50K down from ATH and I still don't feel the urge to buy at 77K. I did however put my bitaxe back on :)

Bitcoin was originally made with the intention to shine in a context like this, but what I see are divided bitcoiners who don't seem to be able to speak with some dignity with each other for multiple months. Adoption, privacy enhancement, self custody and making it simple for plebs are themes we should put energy in. This spammer bullshit is something both sides have point on, so it's a senseless 'war'.

Dollar gaining strength in the coming weeks/months? Probably imo. This Venezuelan deal is big news for the petrodollar system. Above that the dollar looks pretty much bottomed out on most charts (DXY and versus other currencies) and still has an attractiveness as one of the hedges to own during economical malaise.

Most central banks are already hedged for a monetary reset as they own a considerable amount of gold/silver. Maybe after a war the possession of those assets could change (just like after WWII), but the gold and silver hedge will actually provide a way to create a new monetary order after this one fails. It's all a confidence game...

Precious metals appear to be within our collective unconscious a a safe haven when there is fear of a monetary reset. Bitcoin hasn't yet deserved that status yet, but it did provide an hedge for the people of f.e. Turkey and Argentina to escape their hyperinflating fiat currencies (try to get gold/silver out of those countries...). But they may also have chosen USDT or XAUT... In relation to gold i'm looking at these levels to see if bitcoin is able to remain competitive. The 15.5 ish level is the same level as the 2017 top of Bitcoin (versus gold). image The more I think about it, the more I see could be a huge market for being able to physically swap bitcoin for gold/silver/copper. Like a sort of parallel system next to the fiat system instead of embedding both crypto and PM's within the fiat institutional system (which has already happened sadfully).

So this is what MAGA looks like? Scary shit happening in US. American right wing influencers talk about censorship in the EU, but this looks way worse imho. View quoted note →

Look at the BTC chart and compare it to the Q1 2022 fractal. Based upon this the odds say more dump likely, but I would love to be wrong. 2022 image 2026 image

Local top on gold and silver today I think. Why? Gut feeling. I will come back to this note tomorrow ;-)
