Not everyone uses Linux Desktop because it primarily requires some level of skill/experience just to utilize it, thus it has higher learning curve than Mac.
Most of software are only available for Windows and Mac, while some games are multiplatform.

Ah, I got my BandLab profile suspended despite following its community guidelines, so I have decided to stay with GarageBand Mac. I lost all of my projects there but I have them backed up, yet the posts are also lost.
The FBI recommends using an ad blocker, but because servers are expensive some sites may not let you to do so and show you a message telling you to disable your extension or add their domain to your whitelist.
My knowledge of the existence of alternative social networks has made me abandon my idea of a so-called "all-in-one social platforn" and partially move to these services.
