I tried most of these open-source software sometime in the past, I decided just to stick with their proprietary counterparts as I don't have time to spend having their higher learning curves than any other proprietary software.

What I learned in this year:
1. No one cares about seniors' traumas they got from the internet or in real life, just forget them.
2. Using others' materials without permission is illegal.
3. Crying or getting rages won't fix the problems.
4. Causing or getting involved in dramas won't make you safer.
5. Breaking rules can lead to bans
6. Complaining about something you don't like won't make stuff better.
7. Complaining about dislikes/downvotes won't get your stuff more likes/upvotes.
8. Blaming younger generations makes no sense.
9. Not handling jokes won't make them better.
10. Ignoring advices is useless and unnecessary.

Australia's new law banning under-16s from using listed social networks has even sped up the downfall of mainstream platforms.

Anyone can choose specific products and services for their needs because most internet content don't indicate a real costumer base.
If there is a drama or harassment going up online, I will always just ignore it and act like nothing happened.
Most dreams I had in this year are repeats of the dreams I had before, like 1950s-style flying cars or a sport ball meteor shower.
The internet has more stuff than social networks, we have forums, wikis, blogs, news, and anything else that exists here.
