Back in the beginnings of Bittr in 2018, we initially didn’t work with XPUBs. But we saw the benefits and implemented them in 2019. An XPUB gives you better privacy and security. By using it, each deposit goes to a new address. That makes it harder for others to find out how much Bitcoin you own. Today we even refuse to accept XPUBs that have already been used for other transactions since this would compromise your privacy.

 Allowing Bitcoin sales doesn’t align with our core values. We’re here to support Bitcoin Adoption with self-custody, not promote selling for fiat. 😜🧡
