How should Christians resolve conflict? This is why our United States Constitution worked in the past. This is why the Magna Carta worked in the past. We had ways to deal with conflict through Christ. This secular law was last resort after and only for the heathen. When the secular law becomes primary we are outside the scope of Christ and we are bound to make mistakes. Jesus tells us: Matthew 18:15-20 Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother. 16. But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. 17. And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican. 18. Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. 19. Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. 20. Good Morning, Are you enjoying your idols and counterfeit religion this morning? Is your false fiat faith dependant upon the opinions of others and the flint of your store purchased lighter? Do you need a visual, chemical or man made manufactured false fiat? Surely you do not! Your fear and my fear should only be of the LORD: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit: who has placed us here, not by accident, but for his pleasure and joy and we in turn will share this by obedience. --- Idols and their makers: Psalms 115:4-8 Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands. 5. Psalms 111:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever. Proverbs 1:7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction. Proverbs 9:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. Proverbs 15:33 The fear of the LORD is the instruction of wisdom; and before honour is humility.
