My relays have become over-run with spam, and I don't have to time to figure out how to thwart it. As such, I am going to throw in the towel for now until the brighter minds figure out an easier way to deal with the problem.

Tomorrow will mark 1 month since my dad passed away from a short and brutal battle with cancer. He was only 62 years old. He was my best friend, business partner, mentor, and my hero. I thought I was prepared to deal with the grief. I thought I knew how it would manifest. I thought I could avoid it. I've told myself repeatedly that I will turn the pain to power. I've been stoic as fuck. Composed. Getting shit done. I was wrong. You cannot prepare for it. You cannot avoid it. You cannot create a mantra and use it as a cornerstone of your life. You can't busy your way out of it. It is time for me to allow the forrest to burn. Time to embrace the pain.

Feels like the latest Twitter stumble has a lot more people waking up to #nostr. I just checked Twitter out for the first time since they did the Doge stunt and it is nothing like the place it used to be. As it should be.

Not trying to pump it up, but the Threads launch has been pretty damn smooth. Centralization does have it's perks. The app is extremely smooth. I still believe that #nostr wins, but its a healthy start for Threads.

I hate that Damus was removed from the app store, but I love my Apple devices too much to switch. Thankfully I prefer to use Nostr on Primal (desktop), so I haven't felt the burn as bad as others.
