Problem: You're late to the Ordinals party. 🥺 Solutions: Start your own party, or join an existing party! 🎉 Firstly, regardless of some complaining bitcoin maxis, Ordinals are not going away, as I wrote here on Mar 21: https://yourcryptodoctor.com/post/bitcoin-ordinals-aka-nfts Moving on, you can simply inscribe an element that you like onto the bitcoin blockchain. You can create your own Bitcoin Graffiti. You can carve your name into the chain forever. Here's the cheapest way I have seen to inscribe your own Graffiti: I like that they have all the fees broken down for you. One thing to keep in mind is the fee. The demand for blocks is variable throughout the day, but seems to be the lowest 1-4am EST. (0500-0900 UTC) So, if you inscribe your cat photo at that website, and put in a low fee, your pic will hang out in the mempool until the miners decide to include your data. This may take days or weeks or never for a low fee. If you're anxious to get Garfield on the blockchain sooner, pay more. You will need to set up a bitcoin wallet that is prepared to receive ordinals. Sparrow wallet is the most trusted option for this. Here's a short YouTube video to setup your Sparrow for ordinals: Tip: Make a new wallet address only for ordinals. If you want to join an ordinals party that has already started, look around Crypto Twitter. Trust me, this is all still just getting started, and you are not late. Here are some of the big projects right now: @TaprootWizards @Astral_Babes + @BitcoinFrogs @btcordinal + There is some interesting stuff going on over at these projects as well: @BitcoinBurials @HoneyBadgersBtc + @ordpapers @Bitcoin_Punks_ + FWIW, I own the ones with a +, so far. You can engage with these groups on discord for free. If you want to read more first, go check out the Ordinals Handbook at It's not too late to get on board the Ordinals train. As of today, over 910,000 ordinals have been created. We will probably cross 1 Million in the next day or two. Growth is Accelerating. Any questions? If I didn't include your favorite project, let me know. If you're already on board with some of these projects, Let's Fucking Go! Please 🤙, ⚡️, and repost if you enjoyed this! Or, just buy btc and hodl if you don’t want to join this party! 🎈

If FTX, Voyager, and Celsius had actually custodied the bitcoin they were supposed to have on their books, I think Plan B’s original model probably would have held. Those criminal enterprises may have ‘reset’ the S2F model back a cycle because of the demand they absorbed. The SEC denial of a spot bitcoin ETF kept the barrier high for new people to come into bitcoin. The paper bitcoin fraud at the bankrupt companies stole from people who had already purchased bitcoin. The first is annoying. The second is evil. Many people around the world (myself included) had a very painful NYKNYC lesson. It set us back both financially and emotionally. Time will heal these wounds. It is my sincere hope that no one suffers loss from trusting counterparties going forward. Innovations in self-custody continue, and new Bitcoiners also have the opportunity to learn from the mistakes of the past. We also need to hold the criminals accountable for their past deeds. It is mind-boggling to me that people from these companies as well as Terra and 3AC are not already being prosecuted. Not only that, the 3AC bros are raising money for a new venture!? We need to do better than this.

Bitcoin Lesson: Bitcoin has no rulers. People get caught up with charismatic leaders. It’s probably something genetically hardwired in our brains. Some of those charismatic leaders that we followed will NOT be benevolent. Bitcoins has no rulers to become maleficent. Humans get caught up in the lies by these malfeasant rulers. I believed the lies of Alex Mashinsky or nearly two years, even when people like @mikealfred and @coryklippsten called him out. I wasn’t alone, plenty of others believed the scam as well. Billions of dollars & hundreds of employees were at Celsius. During 2022 scams were exposed by Do Kwon, Kyle Davies & Su Zhu, SBF & Friends, and more. The Bitcoin OGs were telling us: Bitcoin only! Not Your Keys, Not Your Coins! Eventually the next set of scammers will be exposed, and the believers blinded by charismatic leaders get rekt. Faketoshi and Richard Heart have plenty of supporters on Twitter. It’s hard to know how many of these anon supporters are real people, but unfortunately certainly some of them are, and they will get rekt as well. Bitcoin gives us rules without rulers. The beautiful thing about Bitcoin is that you are not someone else’s exit liquidity. Are people who saw this truth early Genius? Lucky? Industrious? Studious? Scammers? TBH, there’s probably some of all of that, but Bitcoin’s history is full of people lamenting when they sold. For the most part, this is buy and hold technology. If you can get to the state of confidence and Zen where you want the price to go down so that you can buy more, you are on your way towards becoming a Bitcoiner.

Twitter, Nostr, Telegram, Discord. It's hard to keep up with all the bitcoin goings on across all these resources. I spend a long time looking for signal in Twitter, I think there is more there than here on Nostr, but the ratio of S:N is higher here. Meanwhile, the people we are trying to convert are still on FB, Insta, Snap, TikTok, so you can't really 'ignore' those. I think someone needs to spin up a simple cross-posting interface so the signal makers can post here and there simultaneously and I can just read posts here...
