#macos #protip MacOS ventura annoyingly took away the ability to toggle low power mode on and off, now requiring users to change it in the settings. Using this simple #shortcut shell script you can bring back a toggle to your menu bar. low_power_status=$(pmset -g |grep lowpowermode) if [ "${low_power_status: -1}" = "0" ]; then pmset -a lowpowermode 1 else pmset -a lowpowermode 0 fi Create a new shortcut and paste in the above script. or use my link, rename it to whatever you want and it will live in your menu bar (note you’ll need to run as admin the first time you run it)
