“Fix the money, fix the world” is a common refrain of bitcoiners, in the sense that “fix” is generally considered to mean “repair” or “heal”: Repair/heal the money, repair/heal the world. I bet most don’t realize this phrase works on multiple levels. Fix can also mean “stabilize”, as in ‘fixed exchange rate’. Stabilize the money, stabilize the world. Fix can also mean “corrupt”, as in ‘the match was fixed’. Corrupt the money, corrupt the world. How do you see it? Anyway, there’s your deep thought of the day. Hope y’all are having a great weekend. @Lawrence Lepard @nat brunell image

Met an Uber driver from Togo 🇹🇬 today. Sad to here the desperation hopelessness of the money system, corruption, poverty and lack of opportunity. Nudged him toward looking at the money system and that there is hope for the future. Suggested he check out #[0]‘s work. We all have a lot of work to do.

The beautiful thing about Moscow time is that it is the mirror image of the doomsday clock. Instead of counting down to midnight, it counts up to a new day. Instead of fear and pessimism; hope and optimism. Bitcoin is a mirror: it inverts and exposes the systems we live in. image

Sentiment check. Got my first bitcoin inquiry for this cycle in the wild at the hair salon today. There's a hunger out there. Be kind and open the eyes of those you care about. image

Holding gold is kinda like holding Blockbuster with full knowledge that Netflix is eating its lunch, but just wanting to make sure you capture the wave of increased viewership of stuff that’s coming. That, or nostalgia. Also, I suppose gold and Blockbuster cards have some novelty value in common.

Central bankers come to mind... While you make pretty speeches I'm being cut to shreds You feed me to the lions A delicate balance And this just feels like spinning plates I'm living in cloud cuckoo land And this just feels like spinning plates My body is floating down the muddy river

Many have made reference to bitcoin's 2021 cycle peak as being a 'rounded top' or just not achieving the same level of euphoria as the 2017 cycle. Those that experienced both have instinctually commented that this was the case. One quantitative datapoint that supports that view is in comparing google search trends over the past decade. Indexed to 100, late 2017 was the clear top, with the 2021 peak only hitting about 50% of that level of search intensity. We're currently at just under half of where we peaked in 2021. Will be interesting to watch if bitcoin gathers steam over the next year or two and if if truly captures mainstream attention and public consciousness. Remember, the 100 index high is just a relative measure, not an absolute top. Strap in. image

If the ETF inflows are real and significant, does this mean we are in the 'drawback' phase akin to the tide going out just before the tsunami hits? image
