The liberal boomer mindset has a child-like naivety to it that’s almost charming. They still see America as a static place that hasn’t changed since they were little. To them, it’s still our responsibility to treat the entire world like a giant daycare. The pointless wars, the never ending foreign/ domestic welfare buildup, doesn’t register to them. They seem to be the only modern generation that simply does not understand cause and effect in any meaningful way.
