Went to the @PUBKEY in NYC with a friend, by recommendation of @™. Pretty cool place. Had a couple hotdogs and a couple sides with cocktails. Paid with Bitcoin, orange pilled my friend and got some very cool swag. The bartenders were great. Sats well spent.

VectorLinux (Slackware) was the first Linux distribution I used. It was the _only_ one compatible with our family’s only computer at the time. It was a pentium MMX 166MHz. Can’t remember the brand. But it was a black, heavy, sturdy and beautiful beast. The monitor seated on top of the horizontal chasis. You could hear the insect-like noise from the mechanical hard drive. The speakers were integrated in the monitor. Every single distro I tried, crashed on kernel panic error. It was a long and tedious process because I had to download the ISO file (over slow dial-up, I think it was 128 or 256Kbps), burn it to a CD at slow speed (otherwise it wouldn’t read it), and finally boot it… only to see it crash. Then I would go find a different distro and repeat the process. There was no google back then. Only forums filled with other enthusiasts like me. Then, like magic, VectorLinux worked out of the box. And it was fast.

Dear traveler: When a big company engages in philanthropy, it might seem like something good and positive, as it benefits many sectors: health, education, social programs, real state, arts and culture. But if you know where to look, you’ll find that there are other, usually darker motives that tend to cause more harm than good. Why would a very wealthy entity do philanthropy in these very specific sectors? Why not just give it to charity? Are they doing it just for social responsibility, legacy and reputation? Financial benefits? Or power and Influence? Maybe consolidating a monopoly? The devil is in the details, as they say.

Oh I didn’t know Strike was a KYC wallet. Keep this in mind before funding your account, as they won’t let you touch your Bitcoin until you dox yourself. This little maneuver costed me 100 sats. Deleting account and removing app shortly.
