Recovering #Jesus is now available as a paper book. I think this is a crucially important work, but I also think it contains ideas which will take time for people to absorb. In my experience, things as new and different as this take decades to be accepted. Nonetheless, I’m convinced that the book is important and that this long process needs to be moved forward. So, please buy and read the book, but be prepared for ideas that you haven’t heard before. All I ask is for you to allow those ideas to remain in your mind as possibilities; I do not expect you to immediately grab them and champion them. If you’re a #Christian, I think this book will be a double-challenge to you, albeit one with immense possibilities. If this book is anything close to correct (and I certainly wouldn’t have published it if I thought otherwise), you’ll find true and biblical statements that deeply contradict the doctrines you’ve been taught, or perhaps have taught. That’s not a comfortable set of contrasts, and I apologize for them in advance.
