Daily #4332 Working with the inconsistency of the sahara beige pastel marker. image
Daily #4331 Metallic black on this black is always an interesting challenge. This particular painting was very challenging to pass through and not necessarily satisfied with the result. There are some nice moments. I am almost compelled to try to recreate it using other materials. image
Daily #4329 Yesterday spent some time looking at previous dailies of this year. Some of them are very impressive to me and wonder to myself if I thought lowly of them when they were created, something felt regarding todays piece. Might I feel different about it at a later date? As I write this suddenly an idea comes to mind to go back and give each work a rating. Immediately want to unthink this idea. Although the idea I had yesterday was better in that considered that the ones favoured could be re-produced in part as departure points for larger works. image
Daily #4328 When not shaken the grey paint of the marker comes in a variation. As I painted it stablised as can be seen on the sides. image
Daily #4327 Has a formality to it. Used a pure red that is not from the usual selection of colours. image
Daily #4326 What am I saying in that I did not want to make the green areas completely opaque? image
Daily #4324 Brought the chrome back in. Also found a way to make the metallic black paint more satisfying for my tastes. image
Daily #4322 The center of axis provides the illusion that there exists a fixed point in space. image
Daily #4321 In a way not having different background colour schemes every day as originally planned is akin to how I create the sigil/gift series. Not entirely convinced that this is the best approach. I did shuffle the bunches around. They are like clusters. image
Daily #4319 Managing best one can with what is already on the plate. image
Daily #4318 It's those sharp lines again, like spikes. Tempered with some blocked elements. image

First of a series of blue background paintings on paper. No title yet. Acrylic 30.5 cm x 3 image
Daily #4315 This light blue background series appears to be encouraging me to keep things thin and light. Will try to break this tomorrow. image
