Evento is a free to use events app that serves as a way cooler and easier alternative to Meetup & Luma. We’re totally free to use too ❤️ 🤔 How are we different? Well, we help event organizers of all kinds create minimalist event pages that serve as hubs for real social connection. With Evento, it’s easy to plan events in seconds with RSVP tools, photo sharing, walls for guests and hosts to post updates, embedded playlists (even @Wavlake songs!), in-app messaging, email blasts, super easy event management, personalized event feeds, and so much more. We’re going to be launching features that allow you to see who you’re compatible with at events so you can meet people who are into the same things, are seeking specific types of relationships, and share similar values. It’s hard to approach people at events and we want to make it easier. 🧡 Can hosts accept Bitcoin? We’re excited to be the first events platform that supports #bitcoin #lightning payments and soon, global bitcoin ticketing! Hosts keep 100% of their earnings. 💜 What about Nostr? We want to integrate #nostr as well, and would love the community’s input to help us do this in the easiest, most user-friendly way possible. Right now, we added the ability for users to add their Bitcoin Lightning address and NIP-05 identifier to their profiles. But, this is just the beginning. 🥳 Who’s Evento for? You can run all types of events, whether they’re public or private! The sky’s the limit. We’ve helped our fave bitcoin conferences run their satellite events (@Satsconf @TABConf 8 - Oct 12-15, 2026 ATL @Wavlake @Bitcoin Students Network @btcplusplus), couples host their weddings, friends organize trips, and normal folks host dinner parties, meetups, ragers, yoga retreats, college club meetings, magazine launches, concerts, sound baths, and literally every type of event you can think of. 😎 Who runs Evento and why? Evento is founded by @Brianna HD and 1/2 of an amazing dev. We’re 100% bootstrapped and have been building for the past year. Evento exists because we’re passionate about bringing like-minded people together IRL. We love user feedback - it’s how we’ve determined our roadmap thus far.
