We're a nomadic family living full time in a van. We seek as much freedom this way as is possible for us in today's world. We are anarchists, hippies and nomads. Come with us on an amazing journey through life, because life is just awesome :). We share our findings and reflections from nomadic life on the youtube channel "Karel od Martiny" in Czech language. https://creatr.nostr.wine/subscribe/npub1y2se87uxc7fa0aenfqfx5hl9t2u2fjt4sp0tctlcr0efpauqtalqxfvr89
It is time to repair and upgrade our electricity system so we can be more safe and sovereign. Also we finaly managed to make some extra money to buy new perfectly working fridge. And since we are heading to Africa soon (and I became a carnivore this year) it is definitely gonna be needed (even though we managed to exist 2 years completely without any working fridge - which is actually possible when you are vegetarian)
Since we use mostly cloth diapers (not just because normal diapers don't fit our budget), we have to stretch the clothesline very often. #vanlife #nomadism #nomad #vonu #travel #unschooling #worldschooling #gettingdry
When I was building the van, I didn't know what to put on the door for a long time. We have wood paneling all over the walls, but it just didn't seem right for the doors. Eventually, of course, I put it off until it was too late and there was no time to think of anything fancy. So I decided to simply take the leftover lino we used for the floor and screw it in so that the bottom white side was looking out at us. Then I bought a bunch of markers and watercolor paints, with the idea of letting the kids use the door as a place to paint. It was a great idea. The first photo shows little Ed, who just got markers for Christmas. A year later, we started using brushes and watercolor paints and the door has improved greatly. #vanlife, #vonu, #unschooling, #worldschooling, #kids
Last year we were trying to make our first bigger (2 days long) trail with the little one and Kvido the dog. It was beautiful. Martina was already pregnant by this time. Pregnant, carrying huge bagpack, sleeping under stars and breastfeeding on the rock. What a woman.
Thank you very much, I think I'm starting to feel like trying habla soon.
