I even just went back. Yeah. Youtube absolutely censored your Christmas vid-stream @BTC Sessions I don’t know why, but see my previous Nostr post. Your stream definitely got borked by Youtube.

I was on BTCSessions Christmas livestream tonight on Youtube, and about 1/3 of the way through it became apparent that I’d been “shadowbanned” or “timed out” or something. I tested this in multiple ways, and it was apparent. They didn’t appear on livestream relay, I’d ask people to respond if they could see them, to no avail. It’s the first time I’ve experienced this, where it seems to me I’m responding normally, but I’ve become personae non grata to the chat-world. I don’t type stuff that get’s me “banned” cuz I’m not that edge-y. I eventually had to go to Twitter to watch the stream, but without much active chat participation, I gave up. So then I literally rebooted my iOS system to see if I could participate in chat on Youtube (the only major channel offered) and couldn’t. I also rebooted my VPN. No luck. I could see my “chats” but no one else could see them or respond to them. Somehow I’ve been shadowbanned on Youtube, based on my username, for no reason any normal person would understand. I’ll also note that there were fewer than 300 viewers on Ben’s Holiday Special on Youtube by the highlight hours of the show. Which seems odd for a channel running an amazing special holiday thing on Friday before a big 3 day weekend,& that’d been running live for 4 + hours. I think Ben’s channel has been targeted. If not, I’ve been targeted, 100%. I’m done with Youtube. Nevermore.

So sats being zapped to me are not coming to my node / node-linked Zeus wallet, or to my Blue Wallet that I send zaps from all the time? It’s something to do with the Apple censure, after which I spent a few hours finding a workaround that I barely remember now. Is that workaround getting all my zaps? So I desperately need to know if its the system that’s broken or if it’s me that’s broken. 1 response is all that’s necessary, and I’ll zap them back, pinky-swear. Thx in advance.

When Bitcoin becomes acceptable - not accepted, but simply acceptable - time-lock contracts are going to “eat” the bonds/debenture markets. Let’s imagine a 7 year bond secured by Bitcoin as collateral in 2025. In 2032 that bond comes due. The time-lock contract COULD pay out the owed amount (in $US value) and distribute back to the creditor the remaining, if any, Bitcoin. [If an insolvency resulted, it’d be business as usual.] But this assumes the Bitcoin loan was valued against something else, like the US Dollar. IF it wasn’t valued against something else - if the loan was in straight Bitcoin - the borrower reaps the benefit / loss of value in the Bitcoin loan. This presents a very interesting situation for the bureaucrats who run the money-centers: Arbitrage Bitcoin as the currency of loans, or arbitrage the Dollar-value of that Bitcoin? I don’t know where this is headed, but I know I’d want to get very far out in front of this game-plan.
