Went fishing last week on the Chagras River in Panama (the one that feeds the Panama Canal). Saw two crocodiles and caught 13 of whatever these are. Back home now and the kids had their first day back to #waldorfschool. They live their school so much. Feeling immensely grateful for this amazing life me and my wife have built together. image

If you have young kids and want something other than public school but home schooling isn’t right for your family, look into #waldorfschool. Waldorf education, founded by Rudolf Steiner in 1919, is a holistic approach to learning that seeks to cultivate not only intellectual skills but also emotional, artistic, and practical capacities. The curriculum is designed to meet the developmental stages of the child, weaving together academics, the arts, movement, handcrafts, and nature. Instead of emphasizing rote memorization or standardized testing, Waldorf schools nurture imagination, creativity, and a sense of wonder. Teachers often stay with the same class for multiple years, fostering deep relationships and guiding children through an integrated, story-rich curriculum that connects math, science, literature, and history with artistic expression and hands-on activity. Waldorf education matters because it offers a counterbalance to a fast-paced, technology-driven world by prioritizing human connection, creativity, and meaning. It helps children grow into resilient, thoughtful individuals who can think critically, empathize with others, and approach challenges with imagination. By honoring the child’s individuality and cultivating capacities for lifelong learning, Waldorf schools aim not just to prepare students for exams or careers, but to nurture whole human beings capable of contributing to a healthier society and a more humane future. #waldorfschool

Our kids attend #waldorfschool because I realized a decade ago that computers would replace most human jobs and people would need to find meaning and beauty in life without defining themselves by the grind and the struggle of a career. The most sensible way to do that is through community and self expression and Waldorf Education focuses on exactly that. Today my oldest gifted my youngest a hand felted sweater full of meaning and story about the things that are important to our family. She did this completely on her own of her own volition. Art and handcrafts are a part of the fabric of our family life. image

God, help me to be kind to these annoying little humans. Their school starts again soon and then maybe I can have a few minutes a day of silence. 🤫

You guys remember Building 7? It’s like the kid that falls down on the soccer field even though no one kicked them in the shins just to get a foul on the other team. It’s also the thread that unravels everything. Pull it!

“Bitcoin doesn’t have regulatory clarity” WUT?! There will only ever be <21 million and the coinbase reward halves every 210,000 blocks. The hashing difficulty adjusts about every 2 weeks to maintain ~10 minutes block intervals. Point to the part that is lacking clarity.
