I wrote a kids book that you can only buy with Bitcoin called The Winds Of Uncertainty. You can buy it from my website. The e-book and a video of me reading it aloud are free.

I keep a spending wallet and target having a couple hundred dollars in there. I use it every chance I get, especially locally for things like eggs. The idea was to spend and replace but over the last year with price appreciation I really haven’t had to replace. It’s kind of like I’ve been eating free eggs, but it’s better than that because from the perspective of the guy who sells me eggs he’s also getting double the price he would if I paid cash. It’s a small thing but it’s a thousand small connections that make a strong local economy.
This is fantastic news for Texas and even better news for Bitcoin. I have had several boomers say to me “I like Bitcoin but I wish it was backed by gold”. Now (starting May 2027) we will have a sandbox trial of digital gold condoned by Texas and we can watch how it performs side-by-side against Bitcoin. May the best money win!
If Nostr fails, I will never go back to legacy social media. Briefly considered getting back on X to promote my upcoming kids book, but I will make my stand here.
Do you guys ever wonder what Satoshi’s day job was? I’ll bet we have all use other software he developed under his own name and we’ll never know it. He could have been a Google developer or worked for SalesForce or TurboTax. I like to think of him as a carpenter or a fisherman, but maybe I’m exposing my bias.
