I hadn't cleaned my dryer vent line in a few years. Dryer wasn't drying so good recently. When I bought the place I upgraded the shitty vent with rigid to help improve airflow and make cleaning jobs easier. I have an extension pole that let's me reach about 8 feet from either end. Unfortunately the total run is about 20 ft. After clearing out some lint on either end I realized I must have packed the rest in the middle in the unreachable section. I had two choices.. disassemble in the middle to clear it out, or.. break out the leaf blower. The leaf blower worked wonders and now my vent is clear again. Doing a test with the dryer now on a load of clothes to verify. I swear my next house will vent outside within a few feet. This home is older and not much I can do to change it without giving up some space in my workshop area. #dryer #diy #firesafety
