I came to understand that two character traits define being #German: 1. „Being right is more important than being alive.“ If the world ends tomorrow for something the Germans warned you about they will happily perish while waving their finger reminding you that they told you so. 2. „The perfect machine must exist and Germans will build it.“ If everybody is just sufficiently aligned and in unity, a machine or bureaucracy can be built that doesn’t require further inputs and can run everything automatically for the greater good. Basically a perpetual motion machine. That’s why Germans love authority and the state and why they are so prone to #socialism. #memestr #memes #energy
