Being anonymous online (as anonymous as anyone can really be in 2026) is a gift.
You can say things others sometimes can’t. People who attach their real name and face risk losing jobs, loved ones, or even their freedom.
The rest of us must be extremely selective about what we say, where, and when.
I hate when people call us “cowards” for not blurting out every thought. Maybe we’ll speak up later. Maybe we’re already speaking across multiple accounts, just anonymously. We speak when we support Bitcoin. Some speak when they vote, support, or donate. You never really know how someone is moving.
