I get asked all the time why I don't just buy stocks instead.
And its a fair question because on the surface they look similar. You buy something, hope it goes up, maybe check your phone too much. But once you look under the hood, they're completely different machines.
Stocks can dilute you overnight. They trade 6.5 hours a day, 5 days a week. You don't actually own them, your broker does. And the rules? A board of directors can change them whenever they feel like it. Cut your dividend, issue new shares, pivot the whole company. You just have to deal with it.
Bitcoin has a fixed supply that no one can change. It trades 24/7, 365. You can hold it yourself with no middleman. And the rules are written in open-source code that anyone on earth can verify. No meetings, no surprises, no "we've decided to go in a different direction."
I'm not saying stocks are worthless. But when you understand the structural differences, you start to see why Bitcoin isn't just another asset. It's a fundamentally better one.
Save this for the next time someone asks you the question.
