GM, my work is done

In a couple of weeks I’ll be back in Nepal climbing. Two peaks in two different regions. I love my day to day life, so will miss being home, but going back to Nepal is always a thrill. Truly an enchanting country. Aside from packing, I’ve been pre acclimatising. ~300 metres each night / 2km a week. That means sleeping in this weird tent a couple weeks 😄

Book 38 / week 38, of 2026, still going strong. This week I read ‘wild times’, a great biographical story of an Ozzie’s past few decades making a life in northern Thailand. I’ve stayed at his lodge many times in a lovely corner of the country.

In RelayKit you can see how much space services are taking up. Handy for when your servers about to fall over and you don't know who the culprit is. (eg in this case these dm testing relays bloated to 94GB net) #relaykit

Day 6/7 on Kilimanjaro. We started at 1:15am and reached the summit 5 hours later. It was a slog, cold and hard work. The sunrise was absolutely beautiful and worth the effort. I sleepwalked down a zombie. After some food back at camp we marched on practically all the way down the mountain to a camp below the tree line.
