A sign of things to come? Exiting a complete region - just to avoid regulation. Totally understandable, but shame for users. Can it lead to pressure on politicos? I hope so at least...
Also wonder how differently this could play out on Nostr. I guess a government could still penalise a client for not enforcing x y z regulation of the day... or ๐ค

Note to future self. When optimising code, test everything after EVERY minor optimisation. Realising 7 commits later, that somewhere a problem was introduced, makes for annoyance.
