Does existence lie on a spectrum?
Something I've been thinking lately.
We are as much of our spirit as we take ownership of, for, and thus let be.
Think of how unique we all are, and then, how true to ourselves we really live.
Do we say what we think, and act how we speak.
If we don't, when we could, what changes? Are we less of ourself? I think overtime, we certainly would be. Something in us retreats a little. Our unique individual soul, dampened, bridled.
When we don't live our own truth, we make a trade off with whatever broader collective amalgamized us.
Existence isn't true or false, it's in how closely we live to exactly how we feel. Without imprints, conditioning, norms, guilt, etc.
Can you move along this spectrum? Can you live more truly to yourself?
What happens then? Does your own personal experience of life, get better or worse.
You know the answer. Trust it.
This isn't an individual versus collective take. Nature lays us all out differently, with reason. By serving yourself, to play your unique role, for better or worse you then also play your part in and for the collective - as it's this from which nature selects. It's an ironic duality.
