In all parts of their lives. They can't imagine something better so how could they pursue it? The Attention Protocol story happens in a universe where Bitcoin and Nostr are undeniable. The love story is modern. The problems are relatable. I wanted to give non technical people access to this world. Teach them the basics. Help them imagine what could be possible. Loud Iranians supporting the war are intimidating the ones who don't support the war. So maybe you are confused why you're hearing that Iranians are happy right now. Some of them are. The ones who understand U.S. history are very worried and unhappy. And specifically patriotic Iranian *Americans* oppose this unconstitutional war. Because Trump is acting like the Ayatollah. Without congress. Please, let's all be rational as we consume information about a "group" of 90+ million in Iran and 5+ million diaspora. Most people do not want to be bombed.

This is when you push Bitcoin on normies. When they're upset with the US' unchecked power. Explain to them that endless money funds endless wars. And that the only real protest is buying Bitcoin.

Most depressing part of the this all is that the Iranian diaspora is relying on Instagram to tell them what going on. Which Israel controls. So inside and outside of Iran the narrative is so controlled that (dumb/brainwashed pick your adjective) Iranians everywhere are convinced people are happy to be bombed. 90 million+ people somehow already have the narrative shaped about them hours after a war began. This is why Nostr is so important.
