I really value the features on @npub1xker...d0en . My cash has been collecting Bitcoin interest for weeks while it profitably waited for the Bitcoin price to drop to my Price Target Order that executed at $92k today. Thanks @npub139nl...kwf4 . Hodl on!

I know very little about Ethereum. But reading a few posts about today’s hack has made it clear that I don’t want any part of those Eth bags. Their explanations about their value proposition and the ever changing path forward sounds a lot like my kids explanations when they are caught doing something they know they weren’t supposed to. “You see, what happened was…”. “Well, we had to because…”.

Am I the only person who has no idea which generational label they are supposed to belong to? I’ve never bothered to look it up because I don’t see how this knowledge would change my life in any way. Based on observations of social media discussion, I suspect I’m probably Gen X, Gen Z or Millennial.

I decided to buy some stock in HK Asia Holdings, a public company traded on the Hong Kong exchange. They recently added David Bailey to their Board and I’m betting they will be the MSTR or Metaplanet of their market. I may be right or terribly wrong, that’s not the purpose of this post. The process of purchasing this stock really made me appreciate the freedom, ease, and convenience of Bitcoin. It was shockingly difficult and inconvenient to convince some gate keeper (Fidelity) to allow me to deploy my own hard earned money towards an investment of my choosing. The time zone difference in Hong Kong, exchange closure on the weekend, and the US President’s Day holiday further delayed the purchase by 5 days. It sure made me appreciate the user experience on @npub1xker...d0en. Thank you @npub139nl...kwf4!

Is there a way for an author of a post to zap a recipient, who is tagged in the post, at the time of the post. For example, can I tag someone in a post who has been influencial in by Bitcoin journey and tell them thank you along with zapping them? If I wanted to zap you Primal. Can I do it as this post goes live? @primal #asknostr

@npub1s5yq...6q7z I’m going to dip my toe into the Bitcoin mining waters through hosted mining with Simple Mining. As I understand it, I need to select a mining pool to join. Any recommendations?

I had to abandon a parallel parking attempt on a busy street just now as I was holding up traffic. I’ll send my man card to the penalty box for the rest of the day. #fail

My oldest son, 10, is an old soul…or maybe based is the new term for that. He stayed in bed sick today, and the only things he asked to do were read his hunting and fishing novels, play gin rummy, and watch The Andy Griffith Show.

#asknostr With most expecting a Bitcoin bull run in 2025, is there an IRS rule that would prevent me from the following: 1. Withhold zero dollars on all pay checks. 2. Not pay taxes quarterly (as I have been doing the last 5 years). 3. File an extension for both 2024 and 2025 tax returns. 4. Instead, buy and HODL Bitcoin with all cash that from the above listed actions. 5. When the time comes, sell what’s needed of the Bitcoin to make the 2024 and 2025 tax payments when they are ultimately due. Has anyone else done this in the past? Any thoughts or cautionary tales? #bitcoin #taxes #cpa #irs

How do I ask the nostropoly a question that gets viewed beyond my handful of followers? Do I hashtag the topic? I have a #tax question for a #cpa who understands #bitcoin.

When I think about the appropriate allocation to Bitcoin, I have conflicting thoughts. It feels like I am the only student in the class who has been given the answer key to an important test. If I know the solutions to the problems, why wouldn’t I answer 100% of the questions correctly. However, it feels wrong/risky/unfair/too easy. Anyone else wrestling with this?

Tonight is the annual WNTRTBOI (We need to raise tuition because inflation) Meeting at the local Classical Christian Private School. Owning Bitcoin always makes this news easier to stomach, but I feel bad for the other families here that don’t understand Bitcoin.
