We can win. We have a fundamental advantage over those that want to repress speech - they cripple themselves by doing so. This gives us an advantage. We saw this with Bitcoin. They shunned it and grew poor while we grew rich. Nostr is open, so we can get the new good ideas and critique the bad ideas before they do. We will grow smarter while they grow dumber. It doesn't mean we WILL win. We have to work, but it just so happens that this universe favors us. Build. It has never been easier, or as much fun. image

There seems to be something about nostr that invites creation on, and innovation to the protocol that I haven't seen in other places. Is it culture? Is it nips? I remember back in the day looking at Activity Pub when I was using Mastodon. I was interested in how it works, but it didn't seem to invite me to change it, or to innovate on it. There is something really special here, and I think it is important to understand it. image

Claude Sonnet 4 has been getting insanely expensive for me. Not sure if they upped the price, or if it is just because my codebase is getting large. Either way, have switched to Grok Code Fast, and trying to learn how best to work with it. image
