Do I understand correctly that Japan had deflation for decades, and still their economy did not explode or something?

Most of the times, we need something bad to happen to realize, that what we do has consequences. Usually these are the things that have positive short term, and negative long term consequences.
E.g.: Eating lots of sugar.
Short term: we get dopamine, that feels good. We don't get fat, and don't get health issues after a day or two, so why shall we change?
Long term: we might get obese, or we might get diabetes, we might get teeth problems, etc. And many of them can be irreversible.
What is the solution?
Usually when we see a video, where people did what we do, and got really bad results, we might get frightened, and we might start to change things on the short term, but usually these fade away quite quickly.
It's the same with new year goals. You decide to go to the gym, buy a pass on the first of january, show up once or twice, then your life drags you back to your old self.
Why? What is the solution?
I think there is no general solution, and it can't be solved for everyone. This is caused by human nature.
The solution would be mindset change in my opinion. But mindset change to occur, we have to put in the effort.
Usually the problem is:
We have a mindset -> we friend other people with same mindset -> when we try to change, they drag us back (crab in a bucket mentality, etc).
So if we decide to change, we will have 2 problems:
1️⃣ Our doubts, fears, struggles, because usually good things take effort... or the other way around, we value things that are hard to get...
2️⃣ The old mentality of our friends, and their expectations on us might try to pull us back to our old self.
Therefore, you either have a strong mind and work attitude, and you don't care, you just do the stuff, then you can solve these 2 problems. Most of the time, only <1% of people have this strong mindset to beat these problems. So if you don't, it is okay, because you are like most people. And anyway it is really hard to do.
If you fall into this category or you don't but still want to make your life easier. You can do 2 things:
1️⃣ Find new people to hang out with you, who does not know your old behaviour. This way they don't have expectations to pull you back to your old self/wrong behavior.
2️⃣ Find friends who already have the mindset or on the same path as you.
Ideally the second category of people is the best, because they can pull you up, but you can work with the first group as well, but then it will be more trial and error.
Please don't zap, only share if you will. Thank you!

I think we need more adaptors/interface apps.
These apps would be the entry to privacy, freedom, security.
They would integrate with currently exisiting solutions, but would add a layer of privacy, security and/or freedom.
What do I mean?
E.g.:
1️⃣ App to handle email registrations with nostr account for other apps.
2️⃣ App to be able to pay online with btc where only fiat is accepted by keeping privacy
Etc..

"When a man spends his own money to buy something for himself, he is very careful about how much he spends and how he spends it. When a man spends his own money to buy something for someone else, he is still very careful about how much he spends, but somewhat less what he spends it on. When a man spends someone else's money to buy something for himself, he is very careful about what he buys, but doesn't care at all how much he spends. And when a man spends someone else's money on someone else, he does't care how much he spends or what he spends it on. And that's government for you."

Guys, Gals, Frens, Fam!
Do you know what is cool about freedom?
No matter how shitty your life is, the change is in your hands.
But if there is no freedom, you have no control, you have no right to change it.
So build, spread or invest in freedom!
Plant the seed of freedom today, to enjoy it later!
Repeat after me:
My actions are direct consequences of my thoughts!
If I want better life, I need better actions.
If I want better actions, I need better thoughts.

Life is full of shit. You always can find things to complain about. You always can find problems. As humans we tend to be awesome at finding issues, at oversizing issues compared to good things, because of our life instinct.
But not all things bad. Not every day is good, but you can find something good about every day.
If you want to have a great, enjoyable life, you have to keep going, find, hear, do cool things. It can be vastly different what it means for everyone. But one thing is true for everyone:
Your life to improve, you need to improve.
Your life is the superposition of your past, your decisions, your beliefs. Basically it's a result.
If you are not happy about it, you have to do something differently. But you have to take action, and take responsibility.
Also worth to watchout for your freedom. If you have no freedom, you won't be able to change your circumstances. And freedom is not given, it's taken.
#LGSD people!
Have a happy, and super awesome day!
Live your life on your terms. Stop being a victim.

How many times did you have a bad experience on a place?
How many times have you rated them low somewhere?
How many times have you got an apology in return, which did not make any difference at the end?
