Every region in Japan has its own original mascot. They range from characters run by individuals to characters run by local governments. Their purpose is to promote their own city. And because they have so many fans, they hold events in various regions every week, creating a uniquely Japanese culture and economic sphere. Many of them have original songs, and I have written the lyrics for several of them.
