The Federal Reserve is an organization pretty much explicitly intended to defraud the population and prop up the political élite. Alas, said élite still messes up so blatantly at times that the Fed has to break its own completely rigged laws to support them. Like, if you're going to be parasites anyway, at least make it legal for you to do so, otherwise people will get so caught up in legal details that they miss the fact that it's all a big fraud anyway. But that's of course more wind in their sails.
