Would anyone be interested in a detailed blog post on how it is to use #postmarketOS for everyday things? Or should I just keep posting bits and pieces here?

I wish there was a high end #Smartphone with a rectangular screen. I hate those rounded corners. And they are getting rounder every year, too.

Ugh, I really love #Valve and the #SteamDeck but today was just one of these days... My #ArchLinux #PC just doesn't open the steam overlay anymore, which is really annoying when using a controller. Then I tried to play some #Everspace 2 using Remote Play on the Steam Deck. It wouldn't let me set the 1280x800 resolution, and apparently the game crashes when opening the menu. Well, I tried to use the #SteamLink app which didn't crash but just went back to the main menu. Alright, I thought, and went to install Everspace 2 locally on the Deck, which went quick because of the new local network transfer feature. While that was downloading, I saw that there is a software update. Hoping that things would improve, I applied it immediately. The system rebooted and it didn't resume the transfer... BECAUSE THE SD CARD WAS GONE. It actually destroyed the filesystem on the SD card and I had to reformat. Not that big of a deal because I could hust redownload everything, but... Jeez Valve... fix your stuff. They did some amazing stuff, but they really need to focus on bugfixes more. #Steam #GamingOnLinux #LinuxGaming

I just discovered a key advantage when using #Matrix+Bridges for messaging: The ability to easily forward messages (and images!) between different apps with a single click, even to multiple people on different networks. This is so useful.

Are you using #Matrix on #Android? If you got your client from #FDroid, it won't be able to use #Google Services for push notifications. That means it will either drain your battery or you won't see notifications at all. It took me way too long to learn about this.

I just realised that #Fairphone 5 and 4 don't even have a headphone jack. Is there even any high end #smartphone that comes with either a 3.5mm headphone jack or at least a second USB-C port? I believe that wireless earphones are a pointless waste of radio frequencies.

I finally got around to unifing my personal files into one big folder. 699359 files, 56308 folders, 1248 GiB That's my entire life since ~2009 where I slowly started organizing my files and doing backups. "Organizing" is the wrong word though, it's a MESS!
