Some more #PragmaticOptimism for anyone who needs it: Private industry provided water to 500k people in a month. Plus a bridge and some transportation for a few villages. Libertarians seem to be proven right as time goes on 😂

Today’s #PragmaticOptimism India is now almost entirely electrified. They went from less than half of their people with access to electricity a few decades ago. To now as good as any developed nation. That’s a large population that now has cleaner water, better schools, better hospitals than ever.

Despite how much turmoil there is in the world I think there’s a lot of reasons to be optimistic. Not in a naive way but in a practical way, the world is rapidly improving and solving problems. The community we have here in Nostr is a good example of this and I want to spread some pragmatic optimism 😊 So I’ll start today: If you haven’t heard of it: The Ocean Cleanup project is crushing it and making significant progress on cleaning up garbage from our oceans.
