Juniper has their very first protest. River straps the toddler into a stroller covered with “Defund Everything” stickers, grabs a handmade cardboard sign reading Toddlers Against Cis-Normativity, and heads out the door. On the way, River whispers into Juniper’s ear: “Remember, sweetie… feelings are facts, and capitalism is fascism.” The stroller wheels squeak triumphantly as they roll toward the march.
