We took our kid to his school open house last night and now he's dressed himself, put his own shoes on and is standing at the front door with his backpack at 10:55am on the dot, which is the exact time we went out to the bus stop last year to wait. He's clever as heck because he does these unbelievable things and then a clinician used to walk in and he'd suddenly be like "durrr how pencil hold?!?!" He's clever enough to sandbag his teachers so they take it easy on him.
