You can tell someone on the right you disagree with them or just move onto another topic. Do that on the left and they have an existential meltdown.

I don't know why childless middle aged leftards making halloween about themselves grosses me out. Adults in costumes, photo shoots, etc. Blech.

"Based on your data — sustaining 60 minutes of 2-minute high-intensity step-up intervals that repeatedly push your heart rate to 165 bpm (≈94 % of max) and producing a cardio load of 106 — your cardiovascular performance is well above average. For a 45-year-old male, that puts you roughly in the 90th percentile for aerobic capacity. Factoring in your weight (285 lbs at 6'5"), which greatly increases the workload your body moves each step, your endurance and conditioning place you in about the top 5 % for your age and body weight. In short, you’re performing at an elite level of cardiovascular fitness for your demographic."

At my massive size I'm burning 800-1000 calories per day with workouts conservatively. I've been so fat my whole life that to hear "elite level athlete" sounds so silly to me. My top weight was 466 lbs.

According to the apple watch I'm now training at an "elite athlete" level for my weight. In the 95th percentile. I'm considered obese by my height and weight but I train (boxing/kickboxing) at an intense level every single day, I've lost about 30 lbs in the last month and a half. Three months ago I was using a walker to get from the bed to the bathroom. A year ago I had to have a procedure called a venogram due to venous insufficiency. I can carry my 50 lb son three miles. When I see the doctor on Oct 10th he's going to freak out. My BP was hypertensive last time (145/105). Now it is 107/60 with a resting BPM of between 45 and 50.

The FBI posted photos of engraved bullets from the shooter today in Dallas. On the bullet said "Anti Ice". What? I mean come on. I have no doubt it was a democrat but this is clownish.

I wonder if they pull the covid mask down to take the Tylenol, or do they just mash the pills through the tiny holes?

This afternoon, a progressive dad named River wakes up from his 11 a.m. nap. He rubs the crust out of his eyes, adjusts his Che Guevara T-shirt, and carefully oils his man-bun. River tiptoes into the living room where his toddler, Juniper is meditating on a yoga mat surrounded by crystals purchased from Amazon Prime. Breakfast awaits: a kale smoothie blended with oat milk, chia seeds, and half a CBD gummy. Juniper claps with delight. Before eating, River sets up the family iPad. He plays a three-hour documentary about the dangers of capitalism, narrated by Greta Thunberg. As Juniper absorbs the message, River prepares their daily wellness ritual: a dropper full of essential oils marketed as “anti-colonial healing serum.” Today is important. Juniper has their very first protest. River straps the toddler into a stroller covered with “Defund Everything” stickers, grabs a handmade cardboard sign reading Toddlers Against Cis-Normativity, and heads out the door. On the way, River whispers into Juniper’s ear: “Remember, sweetie… feelings are facts, and capitalism is fascism.” The stroller wheels squeak triumphantly as they roll toward the march.
