“I don’t believe that we shall ever have a good money again before we take the thing out of the hands of government. Because we can’t take them violently out of the hands of government, all we can do is by some sly, roundabout way introduce something they can’t stop.” — F. A. Hayek (1984)

“Hermits are people who pursue individuality to an extreme. They go off into complete solitude. And the most interesting thing you will find in the state of complete solitude, when you get really alone, you find that you are connected with everything.” — Alan Watts, Worldly Religions image

Rooting for Core to return to The Way. Though at present it seems unlikely.

Core v30 is a classic case of “the cover-up is worse than the crime.” Instead of listening to node operators and holding off on the contentious OP_RETURN increase, Core is forcing through a change almost nobody except spammers wants. This signals a deeper governance problem inside Core, beyond just v30. Thankfully, you can run Knots or older versions of Core. New clients are likely to emerge and gain traction too.
