How to #GetOnZero fiat: Have paychecks direct deposited to either Strike or Fold and auto converted to 100% bitcoin. Spend daily on a good credit card with rewards like Wells Fargo Active Cash card. Pay off card every month and pay other ACH bills like your mortgage using the account and routing number in Strike or Fold. Strike can be set to automatically sell BTC on the fly to cover anything pulled through ACH. Fold will have this functionality soon. It's actually really easy now and basically functions exactly like a normal bank account. They both provide all the documentation needed for taxes. If you owe capital gains that means you avoided debasement and increased the value of your money (this is a good thing). If you have capital losses (like in a bear market year) you can claim a loss on your taxes and offset your tax bill. Feel free to try out my homegrown capital gains spreadsheet tracker and provide feedback. It works really well alongside Coin Ledger and Tax Act. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Ep0xvSUMALXo0rb5s5e04y7xwgig3p0HPt6uY1adHRQ/edit?usp=drivesdk

Bitcoin miners are like diners at Old Country Buffet. They consume energy, just as diners consume food from the buffet. Power companies are like Old Country Buffet owners. They produce a lot electricity, just as restaurant owners prepare a lot of food everyday. The difference is that power companies, like restaurant owners, overproduce by a massive margin becasue they have to. They then throw away all of the excess because it cannot be stored. Stupid people like Elizabeth Warren want to punish the diners for consuming food instead of looking at the source of the waste: restaurant owners Bitcoin miners can locate anywhere on the planet. They are incentivized financially to find the cheapest would-be waste energy available. They do not compete with residential customers for power because they cannot be profitable at residential rates. Instead, they scour the market for wasted energy which would have been used by no one. They can even co-locate with new "renewable" power generation in remote locations and provide a revenue floor for them while transmission infrastructure is built out and residential and commercial demand ramps up. When rates rise, mining there becomes unprofitable and the miners leave. Ironically, dumb politicians want to penalize or shut down Bitcoin mining, the best solution to the energy waste and renewable energy transition problem. What can you do to help solve this problem? Buy bitcoin and don't support stupid politicians.

Seems fair. The older generations gave their kids and grandkids the gift of crushing debt to pay for a failed Social Security ponzi, a failed Medicare ponzi, and a failed Warfare State. Now that tradition has carried through to today, when each and every baby born in the US is saddled with $95k of debt by the federal government, owed for services already consumed by their parents and grandparents. It gets better though. Not only do those babies each owe $95k for the consumption of their parents and grandparents, but they ALSO owe about $740k for the future ponzi handouts promised by those programs their parents and grandparents supported. But wait, there's more! All of this ASSUMES that no NEW spending will be penned into law. https://www.theglobeandmail.com/investing/personal-finance/young-money/article-nine-in-10-parents-are-helping-their-adult-kids-financially-heres-how/
