I am so orange-pilled, that; I now glow in the dark…
How orange pilled are you? Pass it on… 🎃

Fun little job; helping a friend’s father to reverse engineer and remake some out-of-production vintage window parts, so their shared-building doesn’t have to do a full window refit.
Prototyped, 3D printed and hand finished here in London, in a high performance nylon/carbon-fibre composite material.
Someday I dream that these jobs will be payed in Sats;
Craft + Bitcoin = The New Renaissance
I look forward to that.

I’m super excited to announce that Thomas Forsyth Limited is now fully set up to start accepting Bitcoin (BTC) payments in exchange for services in; 3D design, fabrication and artisan craftsmanship. This includes both: on-chain (Layer 1) payments and also faster/cheaper transactions via the Lightning network (Layer 2).
It’s something that I’ve had in the pipeline for a long time now, so after many years of study and careful experimentation with the technology behind the scenes, I’ve finally put in place some sensible infrastructure to make it easy, secure and smooth for accounting in the business, so that I can offer this new option for local and global customers.
A rapidly growing number of businesses, institutions and even nation-states are currently adopting Bitcoin, because it helps them to solve a vast range of challenges and new opportunities, such as:
🟠 Protecting purchasing-power against inflation and expansion of currency/monetary supply
🟠 Cheaper, faster, more secure, global, peer-to-peer transactions, 24/7, whether you’re sending a fraction of a penny or £100M+
🟠 Incentivising and supporting green/sustainable energy technologies and use of wasted-energy (no seriously; check out the work of Daniel Batten nostr:nprofile1qqsglmzzvfrcgk7aymek4e8hxaggc9wmasrag08p37xpx64euddvyyspp4mhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mqpremhxue69uhkvet9v3ejumn0wd68ytnzv9hxgtmsdac82mrpwgzt4dvj )
🟠 Layers of institutional-grade security options that (if used) make hacking, theft or extortion near impossible
🟠 Balancing electrical grid infrastructure and making it viable to provide electricity in isolated geographic locations for the first time ever
🟠 Financial protection against political discrimination, de-banking and even war, in an increasingly turbulent era (Alex Gladstein will help you to get your head around this)
🟠 As well as giving some of the poorest and most remote people in the world the ability to create their own micro-economies, to independently bank and save, and the ability to access a fair and global capital network (nostr:nprofile1qqs034ppyjnjakycjcj84kgj737aw6kxkmxazrlp0r67qjk0atgdfgspz9mhxue69uhkummnw3ezuamfdejj7qg4waehxw309aex2mrp0yhxgctdw4eju6t09uuzmtx5 creates some incredible documentaries around this kind of adoption)
For me and my small business; I'm passionate about helping people make things, I’m very cautious and conservative by nature, and I'm certainly not aiming to be a ‘Bitcoin Bro’ who's rolling in millions and buying their fleet of Lamborghini's; but that’s exactly the point. Studying Bitcoin changed my understanding and relationship with money; it gives warranted hope through changes and rainy days to come, and it gives a glimpse at a brighter tomorrow for our future generations.
Whatever your current understanding is of Bitcoin, it’s well worth taking a much closer look at this fascinating and exponential paradigm-shift, because it’s taking place in our time and is very likely here to stay, regardless of the short-term volatility.
And, if someday you decide that you want to do business together using Bitcoin… now we can!
