When my wife goes out with friends, I make sure to do the dishes, prepare the kid's lunches, do homework, let her know she can enjoy her night without worrying about home chores. When I go out with friends, I ALSO make sure to do the dishes, prepare the kid's lunches, do homework, leave the house in order. Then I get to enjoy my night out without worrying. Women have enough mental charge, do whatever you can to alleviate some. No need for flowers or chocolate or other consumerist crap. Happy Valentine's.
