If you have an Android tablet that’s supposed to get 3 major OS upgrades and it shipped with Android 14 it’s obvious that Android 16 would be the last release. But what about Google’s approach to ship more updates anually via Quarterly Platform Releases (QPR)? Would you still expect your vendor ship all those updates until Android 17 in Q4 2017?
