I’m really angry with my go-to bicycle repair shop in Düsseldorf. After all the screwups over just the last few weeks, I’m annoyed enough to send him some feedback via mail. I don’t pay these sums for such a shitty service. Will ask around the neighborhood if someone has a bicycle stand so I can adjust the derailleur myself.

I have a wood stove now and I already know how to use it.

I like all the people living here so far.

Starlink setup, stocked up on some supplies, got a feel for the bus schedules and routes, had my first Americano on the porch. Looking good so far.

Smooth sailing today. 1 1/2 h to get everything packed up. Got invited for lunch by nice Curds who did most of the heavy lifting today. 3:30 for the ride, 1 1/2 h to get everything into my new place. Unpacking and shifting around stuff since 16:00. Finally found my coffee grinder so I'm finally having my first real coffee sitting outside my new home.

Smooth sailing so far. 1 1/2 h to get everything packed up. Got even invited to tutkish lunch. Now 3:30 of drive.

Is strfry sync or stream not working for anyone else? All I'm getting is this error, no matter the relay I try. > Websocket connection error

It took me 12 hours today but I’ve finally stripped down and packaged up my remaining stuff, purchased some last minute items, brought a shitload of stuff to the bulk trash and cleaned whatever I could in order to not leave a total mess to my ex once I’m gone. That wasn’t my best planning and I could’ve accounted for some unforeseen events and dependencies. I also managed to lose my bitset for my battery driven drill on the last day in my old flat. Let’s hope I’ll find it tomorrow morning or building it all up again in my new place will be much more of a chore than necessary. If all goes well, I’ll be smoking a big joint tomorrow morning on my porch.

Packing my last things today. Somehow all of my positive memories of the last 8 years are of her. I hope she'll be alright.

I'm impressed by myself on how I'm handling intrusive negative thoughts and unpleasant feelings. Notice them, accept them, breathe through them, don't listen to the inner monologue still caught in the old. Lots of change ahead. I'm confident it's all going to work out. Just another day of fiddling around with various helm chart bullshit that just doesn’t work. Either I am just always hitting the edge cases or helm fans are just masochists. There is no other option.

Gonna miss those spontaneous trips to the Netherlands.
