Discovered we have more than one hummingbird nest in the big ol' oak trees in our backyard recently so I put up a couple of feeders. This morning has been a tough start because it's hard to pull myself away from hummer shenanigans. GM! (Of course this means I need to set up some kind of motion activated camera.)

In Louisiana we have parishes instead of counties. The parish I live in has roughly 1/4 million folks in it. I just got off the phone with a fella who, not only worked in the building where my office is 50ish years ago for the man whose family still owns the building, but is ALSO the neighbor of my 2 oldest kiddos' grandparents.
