I was very excited taking the pictures for #rupertsbackyardtoday. I have blue/purple spiderwort blooming finally! Sago palm fronds are just fucking cool looking. Crab spider friend Revisiting our skinky pal. Tiny beauty berry flowers and huge daylily blooms And a visitor while getting a shot of the trumpet flowers

GM! I've just discovered that they allowed Ed Sheeran to record a song called Galway Girl that is not a cover and I would like to know where to lodge my complaint. He also should not be allowed to cover the original.

GE, #thenostr! I mowed this morning so today's #rupertsbackyardtoday is a late one. A couple pics of a skink sunning among the water hyacinths. Volunteer watermelon? canteloupe? squash? Who knows!?! The Sorting Hat is so I know which was my surprise plant and which were my intentional watermelon plants. Trumpet flowers ready to burst into bloom! Buddha and the bananas You can see the hint of a bloom to come. Belladonna growing wild in my yard... @npub1xswm...p4xw thinks I planted it. First pic is from around 1 pm. Second pic is from about half an hour ago. The buds in the first pic are the blooms in the second pic. These were a pleasant surprise the first summer after we bought our house.
