My bitcoin story...I met this guy, thought he was cute, we started hanging out. He tells me about this "magic internet money" that's going to revolutionize business and give the death blow to the weakened monetary system. I think "yeah, sure, buddy. This relationship ain't goin' nowhere." 13 years later, we're 4 years into a marriage with a kid and a co-owned business and a home together. I've just accepted that bitcoin is a part of my life now. 🙄 He tells me about "this new social media network/protocol nerdwordgobbledygook" I say "yeah, sure, buddy. This thing ain't goin' nowhere." 13 years and 6ish months later, I'm nostring everyday and I make my very first bitcoin backed product purchase and I haven't regretted it in the least. I'm a HUGE cheerleader for the little guy. I always stand in awe when the underdog comes out on top. Not because I doubted, but because their tenacity and strength is deserving of it. 15 years later, I hit my 2 year nostrversary in September. I plan to make many more notes and many more purchase.
