Something rolling around in my noggin this morning. I grew up a very financially poor gator. I come from a struggling family in a small town in a poor state. My mama worked 2-3 jobs for most of my childhood. My dad was out of the picture for 5ish years due to state intervention. We never bought bulk food items or spent very much on new clothes. (If they were ever even purchased new, that was rare.) Because, while poor people understand quality v quantity, we were far more able to spend $10 on 6 pairs of shoes over time than $60 once on one pair. Yes, the one pair would have lasted longer and we would have spent less in the long run but that price tag meant only one of us could get shoes. So yes, quality is preferred over quantity typically but sometimes quantity is all you can do. I don't think everyone gets that because not everyone has to experience it.

Is 9 too young for the original Night of the Living Dead? Pretty sure thats about how old I was for my first viewing. Regardless, I think I may have just scarred the kid and his dad let it happen. #kidsthesedaysaretoosoft #ormaybethisiswhatswrongwithme
