It's officially fall, I suppose. I made my first #gumbo of the season. Yesterday @Kajoozie Maflingo smoked some chicken thighs and sausage for it. I'm in smoky, chicken-y heaven. Forgot to get a picture. Sorry. Just know it was amazing.

Just about 2 years ago @Kajoozie Maflingo and my local friend group was rocked to its core when we all found out that one of the most loved members of our group had been arrested for CP possession, among other charges. A dear friend of mine had recently ended a relationship with him and she was in a turmoil since she had children with whom he had spent time. Today, we found out that in spite the plethora of charges initially brought against him, he's being released for time served. I'm just reaching out here so that you guys can keep my friends, especially the one, close to your hearts today and over the next few weeks. Thanks. 🫂🫂
