Shires of Melbourne, you’re ruining my dream of moving back to you if I can’t have our two tiny pups in an apartment :( (They restrict apartment owners to 1 dog, which sounds like a lot of lonely dogs if their owners have to leave them alone at any stage. There’s permits for more but I have no idea how easy they are to obtain)

The whole household has been sick and asleep this week including tiniest #dogs

I can not explain why or where this single-person tradition arose. I’m not an economist or alcoholic. Weekly #writing #wip progress: 2134 net words added to current manuscript. Mulled wine at critique group and the rest of the group is really blowing me a way with quality of their submissions at the moment. Detective writing seminar was very helpful, worth driving to Caboolture but possibly not breaking my healthy eating streak to eat a donut. I now feel more adventurous about attempting a contemporary crime book next (with speculative or horror elements, don’t worry)

Tomorrow I’m driving up the cost for a writing seminar by a former police detective! Hopeful it will help me outline the next project and provide insights
